Beginning Drama

Welcome to Beginning Drama!

Beginning Drama provides the student with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of theatre as an art form. While a good deal of time is spent learning basic terminology and principles of stage acting, students also develop an appreciation of the technical aspects of theatre, such as lighting, costuming and how a production is run. The Beginning Drama student learns real-world, transferable skills for life, including: building self-confidence, leadership skills, using concentration and mental focus for success, exercising the imagination and developing an awareness of the world and the people in it.
